Practical Training My Training Notes are designed to help everyone wanting to learn to drive . I have tried to construct them in a manner so anyone can learn to drive in an easy manner with easily achieved targets. I also have a Training Matrix that my pupils can use to help them see what they need to learn & see what more they need to learn. I try to teach from what you know. to what you need to know. I aim to cover the Full Driving Syllabus and include as many extras as I can. Such as filling the car up with petrol or making your way to a given location using your on directions. I will consider anything that might increase your confidence so that you will pass first time. Top of Page
Theory Training I have arranged with Haven-on-Line FREE Theory Test Training for those clients who do not own a computer. Once a client has paid for 3 hours of Driving Lessons with me, I will give them a voucher worth 2 hours of Training with Haven on Line. Extra hours are available with Haven on Line at 2.50 pounds for 2 hours. Top of Page

International, Nervous Clients or Students with Learning Problems I am happy to teach those students who need that little bit of extra help when it really matters. I am experienced with teaching many different types of students ranging from the Dyslexic to those with more specific learning or driving problems such as those who have had a minor stroke or anxiety attack. However those with specific medical or mental problems might need to have a doctors letter confirming there ability to drive. Top of Page

Driving is a Life Skill I consider that safe driving is so important that I am always studying and trying to find as many ways to improve my training that I can become one of the best instructors available. Intensive Training I am happy to offer Intensive Training so long as the Pupil meets the necessary criteria :-
I have had several clients come to me with tests booked wanting "a few lessons" before taking the test. I regret that I can not do this. Anyone taking the driving test with me has to prove they are of Test Standard to me. That means taking a Mock test they do not have to pass because I know nerves could be a part of the reason for a fail. However I will expect to see a good understanding of what is required to pass the Test. Top of Page
Mock Tests When I think you are reaching test standard I will offer you a Mock Test - or you can ask for a Mock Test at any time. They are designed to let you get a feel of the real practical test and give you a chance to see ho close you are to test standard you are. Also these can help you increase your Confidence to drive when preparing for the test. Top of Page

Pass Plus Training My Pass Plus Training is a 6-hour one-day course. Driving down to Peterborough and around, then down the A1 (M) to Bedford and back. there will be at least 2 breaks which 1 of them will be a light meal break. The course will cost 140 pounds if you use my car or 140 pounds if you use your car. I aim to start at approximately 9am and finish at approximately 3pm depending on weather and road conditions. City & Motorway like driving. I am happy to put learners and recently passed drivers, who live in the Boston area into "Motorway-Like" and City situations to boost their Confidence in Peterborough. All I ask is that the pupil can demonstrate to me that they are competent enough to handle most of the situations that they might meet. The "Motorway-Like" Training it will involve travelling at 70 mph, using "Motorway-Like" roundabouts and slip roads on Peterborough's Parkways. You will learn all the rules that apply to Motorways in the best possible way.
If a client has passed the Driving test I would recommend the Pass Plus Training but if they can not afford it then I will use this training to help them. This basic lesson will cost 65 pounds and will last approximately 3 hours during which time we will stop for a short rest. Top of Page

Use your own Car So long as you can prove to me you are reasonably safe using your own Car I am happy to teach you in your own Car.
I must however see the documentary proof that you are insured to drive your car and if necessary have the permission of the owner of the car to drive it. Also the car must meet the standards of safety set by the Driving Standards Agency. Top of Page

Why I use a Mobile Phone I use a mobile phone as my Office Phone because my car is my Office. My Phone will not be answered while I am Teaching or Driving. However if you are unfortunate enough to hear my Answer Phone PLEASE will leave a message or TEXT & I will get back to you as soon as I can. Remember you can also TEXT me from your Mobile Phone.
